How to Insurance Claims Process

Step 1 – Call Architects for FREE roof Inspection

  • We will come by your property and give you a thorough hail inspection.
  •  Inform you of our discoveries during the Hail inspection.

Step 2 – The homeowner must call to file a claim with their insurance company

  • Inform your insurance company that a qualified contractor has examined your property and they have found considerable hail or wind damage.
  • Inform your insurance company of the date of loss.
  • Ask for a claim number at the end of the call.
  • Call your Architects Roofing representative with the insurance claim number. This is the only way an Architects Roofing representative can track which adjuster has been assigned to your claim.

Step 3- The insurance adjuster and your Architects Roofing representative will schedule a time to visit your property.

  • We will inform you of when that scheduled appointment will take place.
  • We will assist the adjuster to identify all storm related damage estimates.

Step 4- Homeowner should follow up with the insurance company.

  • The adjuster will submit his report to the insurance company
  • The insurance will send you a loss summary report detailing the scope of damage which they are willing to pay for.

Step 5- Finalizing the project

  • Your Architects Roofing representative will review the loss summary report to insure the agreed scope of damage is complete and accurate.
  • You, the homeowner will select the materials and colors to be used.
  • Homeowner authorizes the work to be done.

Step 6- Executing the project

  • Homeowner needs to contact their Architects Roofing representative upon delivery of materials so that we can confirm that the proper materials that you selected have been delivered.
  • Your Architects Roofing representative will keep you informed as to the anticipated installation schedule.
  • Architects Roofing schedule’s all work to be completed in a professional and timely fashion.

Step 7- Payment

  • Architects Roofing collects the first payment after delivery of materials.
  • We will notify the insurance company of the completion of the project to release any remaining funds.
  • Homeowner is only responsible for upgrades and deductibles.
  • We also help handle any two-part checks that include your mortgage company.
  • Warranties are delivered upon completion of job and receipt of full payment.
